A goat leather palm with Kevlar stitching is built in so you can keep an easy grip on your poles, and for warmth, these gloves include Thinsulate® insulation, protected by a windproof Pertex Shield® outer shell and waterproof inserts. These gloves are perfect for alpine challenges, crafted for intense adventures and winter excursions in tough environments. The Glissade Gloves offer complete waterproof protection and plenty of warmth, thanks to their insulated construction.

WHAT WE THINK
The Glissade Waterproof Thinsulate Gloves are a fantastic balance between warmth and dexterity. The fit is snug without being restrictive, and the adjustable cuff is perfect for sealing out snow and wind. They really do a great job of offering the perfect balance of protection without compromising on mobility.
The gloves also feature a grip-enhancing palm, which is excellent for handling trekking poles, ice axes, or ski poles. Whether we’re on a technical climb or hiking through deep snow, the grip holds up, even when things get a little slippery.
That being said, they’re not the warmest gloves for standing around in really low temps for long periods. If you’re looking for something for extreme cold, you may want to consider something with more insulation. However, for winter activities where you're moving around and need a high-performance glove, the Glissade is hard to beat. -
