Mounting the Pack to your lowrider bike rack allows you to maintain a low centre of gravity and undiminished off-road agility despite your extra gear.
While the Pack’s streamlined design – without inside pockets and a shoulder-strap pad – helps to keep it in the featherweight class, its lightweight, wear-resistant material withstands even the harshest of rock and gravel conditions you encounter on your way. What we think
Ortlieb’s Gravel Packs are stripped-back and built for bikepacking, not commuting - no internal pockets or shoulder pad here. They’re super light at 1,160g a pair and made from tough, waterproof ripstop nylon with reflective bits on both sides. Each bag holds 12.5L and uses a roll-top closure plus Ortlieb’s QL2.1 mounting system, which comes with different size inserts to stop rattling. Setup takes a bit of fiddling, but once they’re on, they stay put and don’t make a sound, even on rough trails.
