WHAT WE THINK
We recently used the Buff 5 Panel Go Cap on a hiking trip and also during a round of golf, and it really proved to be a versatile and reliable piece of gear. The lightweight design made it comfortable for both activities, keeping the sun off our faces without weighing us down.
On the hiking trail, the cap’s breathability was one of its standout features. The fabric is light and airy, which kept our heads cool even on those warmer, sunnier stretches. It does a great job of wicking away sweat too, so we didn’t feel drenched on those longer hikes. The adjustable strap at the back meant it fit comfortably on different head sizes, and it never felt too tight or loose—just the right fit for all-day wear.
We also used the Buff 5 Panel Go Cap during a round of golf, and it worked just as well on the green as it did on the trail. The 5-panel design gives it a sleek, modern look, and the slightly curved brim provided perfect sun protection for our faces and eyes. It was light enough to wear throughout the entire round without feeling weighed down, and the breathability was definitely a plus, especially when the temperature started to rise. Whether we were walking the course or taking a break between holes, the cap kept us cool and shaded.
One thing we really liked was how compact the cap is—it packs down small, so it was easy to stow in a bag when we didn’t need it. And because it's made from eco-friendly materials, it felt good to be using a product that's both practical and sustainable. -
