We've had the chance to take the Black Diamond Distance Z Trekking Poles on a number of hikes, and they’ve quickly become a firm favourite at V&P HQ.
The Z-pole design makes them incredibly easy to pack down and store—whether we’re heading onto the trail for a long distance trip or just going for a quick day hike. They’re light, durable, and surprisingly sturdy for their weight, offering great stability and support across various terrains.
The quick-locking mechanism is smooth and reliable, making adjustments on the go a breeze. While they don’t have the same level of adjustability as some other poles, the fixed length is ideal for those who know their preferred sizing or don't mind a more minimalist setup.
