The Black Diamond Explorer 3 Trekking Poles are built for those who want a tough, no-nonsense pole that can handle a variety of conditions.
The aluminium shafts make these poles durable and able to withstand a fair amount of abuse. We didn't worry about them getting bent or damaged when navigating through rough sections of trail or heavy vegetation which gave us peace of mind. They’re slightly heavier than carbon poles, but the trade off is that they’re sturdier and a lot less prone to breaking if something goes wrong.
These are solid trekking poles if you’re looking for reliable, rugged performance and don’t mind a little extra weight. -
