COMPLETELY REDESIGNED FOR BETTER, BRIGHTER IN-CAMP ILLUMINATION, THE FULLY RECHARGEABLE

Whether you're cooking on the tailgate, playing cards in camp or sorting gear in the tent, the Black Diamond Apollo Lantern provides 250 lumens of bright, glare-free and fully adjustable light. The Apollo runs on either its internal rechargeable lithium ion battery or standard alkalines, and the lantern also charges handheld electronics via an external USB port. The redesigned housing features a collapsible double-hook loop for hanging in the tent or on a tree, as well as folding legs for setting on a table. Strobe and dimming modes allow for custom lighting, and a power meter displays for both alkalines and the internal rechargeable battery.

  • REVIEWS

"The light is sufficient for a picnic table and more than enough for the inside of a medium size tent. The fact that the light shines out of the bottom helps"

"Well thought out features, plenty bright enough, nice upgrade"

"Bought this for a training event, and it worked great used it for a week straight without having and about 2-3 hours every night. I used lithium batteries and the built in battery and it worked amazingly"

  • WHAT WE THINK

At 250 lumens, it’s not the brightest lantern out there, but it’s perfect for small campsites or just lighting up your immediate area. We love how it delivers a soft, diffused light that feels natural and comfortable for those evening activities like cooking, reading, or just hanging out at camp.

We’re big fans of how compact and portable the Apollo is. It collapses into a very small, travel-friendly size that takes up barely any room in our pack. The weight is also super manageable, so it’s ideal for minimalist trips where every ounce counts. Plus, the adjustable brightness is a nice touch.

However, if you need brighter, more intense light for a larger campsite or tasks like cooking or cleaning, the Apollo may fall a little short. It’s ideal for creating a cosy ambiance and lighting up small spaces, but it’s not the best option if you’re looking for a high-powered lantern.
