DIG DEEP WITH THE DIRTSAW DEUCE #2: YOUR ULTRA-LIGHTWEIGHT TROWEL FOR TOUGH TERRAIN

The DirtSaw Deuce #2 strikes an ideal balance between extreme lightweight and impressive durability.

You'll find yourself using the Deuce® upside down about a third of the time. Start with the handle down to probe the top three inches for rocks or roots that could disrupt your hole. This probing feature is a fantastic time-saver! Next, use it in this position to saw the outline of the hole, which inspired the design of the DirtSaw® at the other end. As you dig deeper, continue using it to break up hard soil and pry out stubborn rocks. With the Deuce®, creating your “poop hole” becomes a fluid process of sawing, prying, and scooping your way to a true depth of 6 to 8 inches.

The front edge features two deep notches that protect the recessed teeth, which can be sharpened (even with a nail file) to cut through tough roots. These teeth are safely positioned away from the front edge, so you don’t have to worry about accidentally cutting your hand when using the Deuce® upside down.
