At Valley and Peak, we’ve been using the Big Agnes Zoom UL Insulated Sleeping Mat on several trips to the Peak District, and it has definitely impressed us. It strikes a great balance between comfort, insulation, and weight, making it a solid choice for anyone looking to keep their pack light without sacrificing warmth.
In terms of comfort, the firm yet supportive feel strikes a nice balance for us. The thickness gives it just enough cushioning without being overly soft, which is perfect for those who prefer a firmer sleeping surface but still want a good night’s rest. It’s not as plush as some thicker mats, but it provides solid support while still feeling comfortable throughout the night.
