Constructed from 30D nylon ripstop with strong DAC Featherlite poles, the tent feels sturdy and able to handle typical British weather. While it’s not ultra-light, the weight remains manageable for most hikers looking to cut down on pack load without compromising on protection.
Inside, the Lightrock 1 offers a comfortable amount of space for one person along with their kit. The single door and vestibule provide practical storage for boots and gear, although some might prefer a second door for convenience.
Ventilation is addressed with two vents, which help reduce condensation—a common issue on damp UK nights. Setup is straightforward but benefits from a little practice to get quick in less favourable conditions.
