For midweek dawn patrols, all-night approaches, or just big climbing objectives that push beyond daylight, the Black Diamond Spot 400 R has 400 lumens of power, now housed in a smaller, more efficient design. With a compact body, the Spot 400 features a low profile for better balance and is more ergonomic for added comfort. The user interface also has a second switch for easy lens mode selection. Powered by our BD 1500 Li-ion battery that’s charged by a micro USB, the Spot 400 R also features a sustainably made elastic headband with  recycled textiles.
