Over time, this weakens the fabric, making your tent floor vulnerable to punctures, tears, and coating degradation. That’s why a Tent Footprint is such a worthwhile investment. Crafted from a heavy-duty, abrasion-resistant nylon mesh, the doormats also give you a convenient spot to store dirty gear outside your tent, so you’re less likely to end up with a tent-full of dirt and debris at the end of each trip.
Extra Protection for Demanding Conditions
If you’re camping in demanding wilderness conditions, these Lightweight Footprints guard against moisture, mud, and sharp debris that could damage your tent floor. Constructed from a premium, square-grid 20D ripstop nylon with a dual silicone/PU waterproof coating (2,500mm hydrostatic head). The silicone outer layer soaks into the fabric and bonds with the fibres, increasing the fabric’s tear strength and creating an impermeable barrier that doesn’t wear off over time. That means you can rely on this Footprint to withstand prolonged exposure to wet, muddy ground without risk of leakage, season after season.
