The Soulo Red Label is a fully freestanding, one-person tent that combines Hilleberg’s renowned craftsmanship with a minimalist design. While it is a little heavier than some other solo tents, the weight is very respectable given the strength and durability it offers. With its 9mm poles and Kerlon 1200 outer fabric, the Soulo Red Label is built to withstand high winds, heavy snow, and freezing temperatures, all while maintaining a relatively low pack weight for a winter tent of this strength.
The tent features a single entrance and a small vestibule, offering just enough space for gear storage and keeping items protected from the elements. While not as spacious as some other vestibules, it’s perfectly suited for a solo adventurer and provides sufficient room to store gear and cook if needed, all while keeping things dry and sheltered in harsh conditions.
