SOTO Windmaster w/micro regulator
THE SOTO WINDMASTER
Boil 2 cups of water in under 2-1/2 minutes in strong winds and gusty weather. This well-made stove is able to stand up to harsh conditions.
The SOTO WindMaster stove is designed so the pot sits close to the flame, making it more efficient in windy weather. Results in increased efficiency so boil time is quicker and longer. The concave design of the burner head creates the effect of a built-in windscreen. The 4Flex pot support works for a larger pot, but the smaller, Triflex pot support, is available separately. An efficient stove for whatever size pot your adventure requires.
Another innovation which makes the WindMaster unique is the Micro Regulator System. It is able to keep the stove’s performance constantly high, even when the cartridge is almost empty and temperatures are below zero. This is achieved using a sophisticated gas-line system that compensates for the pressure drop when the gas volume is reduced and for low temperatures.

What We Think
The lightweight Windmaster is a brilliant backpacking stove suitable for year-round use that boils water very fast, simmers well and has better wind resistance that similar canister-top models. It has four, rather than three, pot supports, and these are wide and strong enough to support big pots. The stove has a regulated burner, which enjoys a limited drop-off in performance with a less than half-full canister, even on a frosty morning! Wind resistance comes from a raised rim round the burner and the closeness of the pot to the flame. In terms of Stoves, the Windmaster has one of the fastest boil times so if you’re looking for a fast brew this stove can provide it. Flame control is equally excellent and food can be simmered without burning.
We believe this is one of the best upright stoves available and certainly lives up to all the awards it has received since its launch.
