THE PERFECT MULTI-SPORT SOCK FOR RUNNING, BIKING, AND HIKING

The Quarter is a versatile outdoor sock designed for a range of activities. This popular sport sock excels in running, biking, and hiking, thanks to its dense Merino wool loop pile sole that provides exceptional cushioning for high-impact sports and challenging terrains.

Cushioned, comfortable, and incredibly durable, the sock features breathable Air-Tex mesh on the upper foot to wick moisture and keep your feet feeling fresh. The inclusion of Lycra ensures a secure fit, while the flat linked toe seam minimises the risk of abrasion and blisters—essential qualities for a premium activity sock.

Horizon is a trusted UK brand that has been delivering quality, performance, and value since 1999. Horizon manufacture all of their socks in Italy, using their own knitting machines to ensure precision and consistency.

  • What we think

Here’s what Nicola, one of our ambassadors, had to say about testing the Premium Merino Quarter Socks:

I’ve been wearing the ‘premium merino quarter socks’ - they’ve proven to be ideal in this changeable weather. It’s no secret that merino wool is excellent at regulating temperature and controlling moisture, as well as being naturally anti-bacterial. In a nutshell, they stop my feet from smelling like a bin.

They’re a great mid-weight sock. Surprisingly lightweight and not as chunky as traditional walking socks, without sacrificing warmth - for me, this is ideal for extending the seasonal life of my trail runners (usually by now I’d have switched fully to warm walking boots). And on the other side, when I have been hiking in boots, my feet can still breathe and don’t overheat.

I’m impressed with their performance and price - I’ve paid more for merino socks in the past, and these have the classic, soft, non-itchy feel of merino wool, with the durability of traditional hiking socks.
