  • If you're using a camping stove, bring enough water to a boil. The amount of water needed will be stated on the meal's packaging (usually measured in mills or cups).

  • If you’re using cold water, skip this step and proceed directly to the next.

2. Open the Meal Pouch

  • Carefully open the freeze-dried meal pouch. Some pouches have a tear-notch at the top for easy opening, or you can use scissors if needed.

  • Be cautious not to spill any of the freeze-dried food inside.

3. Add Water to the Pouch or Container
