ORTLIEB'S FRAME BAG WITH ROLL CLOSURE HELPS YOU START OFF YOUR BIKEPACKING ADVENTURE WELL-PREPARED
Thanks to the waterproof roll closure - which is closed by three silicone rings— paired with the proven nylon fabric, your luggage inside the bag stays absolutely dry even in the most adverse conditions. The Frame-Pack RC is ideal for storing heavy luggage, such as tools or food, centrally on the bike. This maintains a low centre of gravity so that the trail fun remains high even when fully loaded.
The roll closure and its large opening allow easy access and easy packing of the bag. The assembly within the frame triangle is done with strong and robust Velcro fasteners. The specific positioning of the Velcro straps along the circumference of the bag enables individual adjustment to the dimensions of your bike. The Frame Pack RC is available in two sizes -4 and 6 litres - and suitable for mounting on carbon frames. The bag is PVC-free and sustainably made in Germany.
This frame bags feature a reflective logo on both sides of the bag.

What we think
We recently took the Ortlieb Frame-Pack RC out on a gravel ride through the Scottish Highlands, and it didn’t miss a beat. The roll-top closure, sealed with three silicone bands, kept everything inside bone dry the entire ride, which is exactly what you want when you're stashing tools, food, or extra layers mid-frame.
The design makes a lot of sense for bikepacking. It holds weight low and central, which helps your bike handle better when it’s loaded up. We packed heavier gear like a pump, stove, and a couple of freeze-dried meals, and even on rough ground, the balance felt spot on.
Fitting the pack was easy. It comes with six strong Velcro straps - three along the top, two underneath, and one at the rear. They're fully removable and repositionable, so we had no trouble getting a snug fit on a carbon frame with slightly awkward cable routing.
The roll closure is refreshingly simple - no fiddly zips to get jammed with dirt - and the wide opening makes it easy to load and grab things quickly. -
