The Parsec Sleeping Bag is designed for excellent performance in tough conditions, filled with 800-fill Nikwax Hydrophobic Down that absorbs 90% less water and dries three times faster than untreated down. This makes it ideal for wet weather, keeping you warm and dry. The 2022 update features a lightweight, eco-friendly 20-denier GRS-certified recycled nylon shell, offering a great balance of durability and weight-saving design. The new YKK zipper allows easy entry and exit without the risk of snagging or tearing.

The Parsec also includes upgraded SynergyLink Connectors that securely attach to your sleeping pad, offering more freedom of movement while preventing the bag from slipping off and losing warmth. The improved shape reduces weight by 2 oz, and the down-lined Toe-asis foot pocket keeps your feet warm and comfortable throughout the night.

    The Therm-A-Rest Parsec 20 sleeping bag has been a fantastic addition to our gear at Valley and Peak. We tested it out in the Cairngorms in December, where temperatures dipped just below freezing, and it performed exceptionally well. The 800-fill Nikwax Hydrophobic Down™ kept us warm and dry even in damp conditions, offering great insulation without weighing us down.

    The bag is impressively light, which is always a bonus for our outdoor adventures, especially when we're looking to keep our pack weight down. However, it’s worth noting that the sizing tends to run a bit small, so if you're on the fence about which size to choose, we’d recommend going up a size for extra comfort and room to move.

    The 2022 updates to the Parsec really shine through—its eco-friendly, lightweight shell and new features like the no-snag YKK® zip make it easy to use and durable. The SynergyLink™ Connectors are a brilliant touch, keeping us on our pad throughout the night and preventing any heat loss. Despite the smaller sizing, the Parsec 20 is a top-performing bag that we’ll definitely be reaching for on future wild camping trips.
