FEATURES OF THE NORTENT VERN 1
- Waterproof Flysheet: Made from silnylon, the flysheet is waterproof, but it's essential to treat the seams with a silicone mixture for full water resistance.
- Ventilation: To combat condensation, the Vern 1 has four air valves—two at the bottom for fresh air intake and two above the entrances for moisture release. The top valves also provide an overhang for rain protection when the entrance is open.
- Spacious Awning: The tent features a roomy awning that accommodates a backpack, shoes, and cooking gear, allowing for versatile outdoor use.
- Inner Tent Comfort: The inner tent fits a 190x60 cm sleeping pad and offers ample space for gear. Doors can be fully sealed for cold days or opened with mosquito nets for ventilation on warmer days.
- Flexible Entry Options: Open the side of the tent for fresh air on calm days, partially close it for shelter on wet days, or fully close it during heavy rain while still using the awning for cooking.
- Reinforced Seams: Thick fabric sewn into the seams enhances strength and distributes external forces, minimising the risk of tearing during high winds.
- Double Poling Capability: The Vern 1 supports double poling without traditional sleeves, allowing for improved stability in harsh weather conditions, ensuring a secure shelter against unpredictable elements.
